Caramelized Shallot Hummus
Caramelized Shallot Hummus 1 15 oz can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds juice of 1 lemon 1 clove garlic 3 tbsp olive oil, divided 2 shallots, chopped Combine the garbanzo beans, toasted sesame seeds, lemon juice, garlic and olive oil in the bowl of a food processor and pulse until combined Heat 1/2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet. Add the chopped scallions. Cook until caramelized. Stir into the hummus, reserving 1 tbsp to sprinkle on top.
