What about The Momtrepreneur Maven and her Exchanges? It's a great resource for moms who own their own businesses. Love her meetups. http://www.momtrepreneurmaven.com

Citymommy.com is a home grown, mom run social networking website for moms. Not one of the big media conglomerate sites...just real moms in 45 cities conneting other moms in a very grass roots community.

I heard about city mommy at three blonde moms site. they are great too.

Moms should know there is a place online where they can buy and SELL everything for children! Kidzola.com is the one-stop shopping site dedicated to all things for children. Kidzola brings together parents selling gently-used items, a wide variety of merchant storefrnts seling new inventory, as well as handmade and handcrafted items from boutiques and home businesses.

Let's celebrate mom owned invitation companies - not ones that just dominate the web. These companies offer similar services, they just have a much smaller advertising budget.

Did you see the new site www.picturemecooking.com? I bought the book on QVC then learned of the new site yesterday - my daughter just loves to cook, she has allready uploaded one of her recipes, and hopes to win a prize.

I think most moms are looking to save time & money. www.SunnySaves.com is a comprehensive site that offers great deals from fashion to fitness, kid stuff to shoes, green living to going out... It also has a social networking component for moms who like to share their steals & deals & time saving tips. And, everyone can sign up for a weekly deals email alert!

Thanks for including Daily Grommet on this great list, Hybrid Mom! So many smart businesses here - it's a fantastic resource. We'll be looking through it ourselves for Grommet ideas; and if anyone who stops by wants to let us know about a favorite product, site or service, don't hesitate to send a note to us: ideas@dailygrommet.com. We're always looking for cool stuff to feature on our site - and you'll be part of the story!

Check out www.sayplease.com -- A great way for busy moms to connect with their kids with Lunchbox Love for Kids. They are credit card sized notes that contain heartfelt messages and fun/educational trivia on each card! Parents love giving them and kids love getting them Check it out!

EasyPeasyBlog.com! What busy mom isn't looking for tips on achieving beauty, fashion, life & style--all in record time! Would love to be considered for next year's Top 50! Thanks

The best site ever - www.freecycle.org - it's free to sign up and there are freecycles in many cities. People give away tons of great stuff - much of it new or like new. I've gotten everything I needed for my nursery for free, car booster seat for my sis' 6 year old, pot rack, kids books, kids clothes, strawberry plants for my garden, toys I gave as Xmas gifts for kids, purses, etc.

First-time moms seeking to have more fun with their adventures in motherhood should know about The Rookie Moms. We publish something new every weekday - all promised to be more fun than wiping someone's tushy.

Have you been wondering at some point what happens if you take more than one medication at the same time? Is it better to start your kid on antibiotic at the first sign of an ear infection or would it make sense to try something else first? What are the best supplements for kids? Which type of probiotic supplement is doing a better job after the course of antibiotic treatment? Or why does orange juice get fortified with calcium? Doing your own research on any of the above subjects online could be productive but in many cases the results coming back are overwhelming and sometimes quite contradictory. To alleviate some of the confusion, I would recommend a website http://www.healthialist.com that has a wealth of information on those and many other very specific pharmaceutical questions. Here you will also find a lot of great insight on questions related to children health. Better yet, if you can't find what you are looking for, you can post your question and a highly qualified pharmacist will answer them for you, in many cases quoting the source publications. Check it out!

Simply Necessary, Incorporated was founded in 2005 by a stay-at-home mother. It is a corporation, headquartered in Lakeland, Florida, owned by mothers dedicated to meeting the needs of mothers, caregivers, and children of all ages. The GoPillow! was created to fill an existing gap in the childcare product area. Existing nursing pillows were too bulky and cumbersome for travel. Cover-ups on the market required too much manipulation. The GoPillow! is a patented, multipurpose childcare item. The owners of Simply Necessary, Incorporated hope that the hands-free portability and multipurpose design will make the GoPillow! the childcare product that caregivers use most. You should check out Yumkid.com also. In addition to coming up with kid friendly recipes, this site also focuses on educating parents and children about diet and nutrition. We look at alternatives to the heavy sodium loaded goldfish crackers, what vitamins should be given to children, how many calories kids need to eat daily, super foods for children amongst other things. Basically, anything that can help moms and dads raise healthy, well adjusted children.

I would love to talk to you about making it easy to get your child to take their vitamins. My company makes the very best Gluten free and Sugar free vitamins for kids. They put the vitamins in Chocolate and Yoghurt that kids love to take. We also have the only gummy bears that will not stick to teeth and cause tooth decay, in fact we use pectin and ingredients that are good for kids teeth. We also have Omega 3 that does not taste at all fishy. Best of all, you can get it for 30% off retail and delivered to your home. Thank you so much for including The Vacation Gals on your Top 50 Websites list. What an honor! We do try to give valuable tips and suggestions for family travel, from metropolitan vacations http://thevacationgals.com/best-things-to-do-with-kids-in-nyc/ to outdoor adventure http://thevacationgals.com/hiking-with-kids-in-joshua-tree-national-park/ ...We enjoy reading and learning from other blogs on your list, so it's so nice to be included among them.

Hi Vacation Girls, check out the web site for 5 star vacations at 2 and 3 star prices. Most of them have kids for free. It is a vacation membership club, but no contracts, 5 day cruises for $69 every month, and great coupons and deals included in the membership price. The best part is if you have 4 friends that want to also save money and travel with you, you get the membership for free. If you have 6 friends, or try the trips and decide you love it as much as I do, and want to tell other people about it, you can make some extra money on the side telling people about the great vacations you are going on. Check out the web site videos and you can call me. Lily: 310 505 1058

I would definitely add www.etsy.com to this list. It's basically a marketplace of artisans who make everything from kids clothes to jewelry, housewares and more. It's kind of like eBay but all of the items on the site are either handmade or vintage, so you're supporting artists and getting one-of-kind or small run, original items at the same time. You can put in key words like "baby girl" or "teacher gift" and come up with great, fresh gift suggestions in a big range of prices too.

Vacation Gals are definitely on my must read list. I also would like to suggest http://www.trekaroo.com . Its a family travel review website with tons of great advice, contests, and vacation ideas.

Don't forget about http://vickyandjen.com/! The internet radio show "What Really Matters" on VickyandJen.com is brought to you by two moms who have taken "mom networking" beyond the next level. Co-hosts, VIcky and Jen will make an impact on the way you and your family value your time, interviewing a wide variety of guests from professional organizers to chefs, parenting experts to doctors, and television personalities to best-selling authors, all about making life simple so you can enjoy what really matters. Each show has a supporting page of "show notes" on the website with even more simple ideas!
