Please tell us more about your business and when you started it.

I am a full-time Mom who also has two full-time jobs. For the past eight years I have managed my own graphic design firm. Last year, my wonderfully messy kids (Cooper, 4, and Kendall, 2) inspired me to start Pukies.

The Pukies brand is a collection of accessories and apparel designed to welcome the mayhem of parenting. Pukies cleverly incorporates natural colors and fun patterns to help disguise the mess, turning stains into fashion statements. Pukies are not ruined by the first stain and are more likely to make it to the hand-me-down stage. The Pukies exclusive fabric is a unique blend of soy and organic cotton that withstands wash after wash and mess after mess without using harsh stain-repelling chemicals.

How do you define Hybrid?

A hydrid mom is someone who is able to put fear, criticism, and insecurities aside to embrace her passion.

Tell us how your "What’s Next" moment occurred and what did it mean to you?

I have not really had a "What’s Next" moment. I have just let life happen and have taken advantage of opportunities as they arose.

The closest time frame that your 'What's Next' moment occurred was …?

I'm still waiting for that moment!

What are your biggest challenges?

Balancing time is my biggest challenge.

What are your aspirations?

At some point I would like to leverage my company to do more charity work.

What are your interests?

Travel, fashion and fitness.

What inspires you?

My kids! Every day I want to make them proud.
